Speng Bond, originally from Birmingham, UK, is a veteran of the reggae scene. His musical career dates back to 1974 when he started playing with his own sound system , Black Ambassador. He went on to work with many major sound systems such as Quaker City, Jungle Man, and even had a single with UB40. Throughout his career, he performed all over Europe, including a tour with Steel Pulse.
Speng Bond is known for his unique style that combines classic reggae with modern elements. His work includes numerous collaborations with major producers and labels such as Reality Shock, Jahtari, and Scotch Bonnet Records. Some of his favorite projects include his 2017 album “Up Deh”, which showcases his mastery of genres such as rub-a-dub and roots reggae.
